Introducing Pikelet the Therapy Dog 

We are excited to announce that Mount Alvernia College is commencing a Pilot Program in Term One of 2023, welcoming Pikelet the Therapy Dog to join our team. 

Pikelet is a 5-year-old medium labradoodle belonging to, and working alongside our college counsellor, Jess Sexton. Together Pikelet and Jess have completed rigorous training and have been certified as a human-canine therapy team through Therapy Dogs Australia. Pikelet is required to meet high standards of temperament and obedience and engage in annual assessments to maintain her registration. A full risk assessment has been undertaken to ensure the health and safety of this program.
