Hollows House News

Dear Parents/Carer and Students,

We hope this newsletter finds you well as we kick off a new school year. On behalf of Hollows House and the staff at Hampton Park SC, we would like to extend a warm welcome to all our returning and new families.

As we embark on this new school journey together, we are eager to continue providing our students with a high-quality education in a supportive and nurturing environment. Our goal is to inspire a lifelong love of learning, and to equip our students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the future. Over the past week, our students have been re-introduced to our graduate profile, which lists several different key attributes that we as a school aim to equip all students with over their time at Hampton Park SC.

This year in Hollows House, we are excited to introduce some new initiatives and programs that will enhance the learning experience for our students and the wider community. Our teachers have been busy preparing engaging and interactive lessons that will foster critical thinking and creativity, while also providing opportunities for hands-on, real-world learning.

We understand that the past few years have presented many challenges, and we are committed to ensuring that our school remains a safe and healthy environment for all members of our community. We have implemented enhanced health and safety protocols, and will continue to closely monitor developments and adjust our plans as needed to ensure the wellbeing of everyone in our community.

In addition to our academic programs, we have a full calendar of events and activities planned for the year, including our upcoming swimming carnival (permission forms are due on Friday February 24th), Open Night, and school-wide celebrations such as the whole school and House assemblies. We encourage you to get involved and attend as many events throughout the year as you can, as this is a great way to connect with other families and support your children’s education.

Already, Hollows house have been receiving a large number of values nominations in their first week, Congratulations and well done to all recipients on their fabulous start to the 2023 school year:

Finally, we want to express our gratitude for your continued support and partnership as we work together to provide the best education possible for your children. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher or one of the members of our House Leadership team.
