Message from the Principal

St Anthony’s Parish and St Anthony’s School hold the care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people as central and fundamental responsibilities of the Church. St Anthony’s is fully compliant with all policies in relation to Child Safety. These documents ensure compliance with the Victorian Government Child Safety Standards which took effect on 1 January 2017 and reflect our Parishes’ ongoing commitment to ensuring that all children are safe, happy and empowered.

Dear Families and Friends of St Anthony's,

Welcome to Term Two! Last week our Catholic Social Teachings Group, Mayor Cr Angela Long and City of Greater Dandenong Band musician Allan led us in our ANZAC Day service.

We had an Open Morning last Friday for families with children who will start Prep in 2022.  Our School Leaders took our visitors on a tour of our fantastic school and all parents remarked on how our wonderful the Leaders and tours were.

Enrolments for 2022 are now open for all children starting Prep in 2022. If you have a child ready for Prep next year please contact the school office for an enrolment pack. If you know any local families that would love St Anthony's as much as we do please let them know that every day is open day and they can contact the school office for a school tour or an enrolment pack.

On Wednesday 19th May our St Anthony's School Advisory Group will meet. All parents and carers are invited to join us for some supper and to hear about all of the fantastic things that are happening at our school.

It is with sadness that I inform families that Fr Martin will be leaving St Anthony's to run St Anne's Parish in Seaford. St Anthony's community has been blessed to have Fr Martin over the past three and a half years. On behalf of all students, parents and staff I thank Fr Martin for his wonderful work in our school and parish. I know he will be truly missed. I wish Fr Martin every success in his new vocation and know that God will continue to share his blessings with Fr Martin.

Our students are planning a special presentation for Fr Martin at an assembly on Friday 7th May.

God Bless,
