Polish Program

The Beacon Foundation have generously sourced funding for Greater Shepparton Secondary College to host three high impact “Polish” programs. Two Mooroopna Campus Year 9 groups and our Wanganui Campus Project Ready group will be participating. Students learn work readiness skills such as:

     Communication

     Team work

     Interview skills

     Digital literacy

     Cultural awareness

     Problem solving

     Decision making 

     Adaptability

Students are supported by community members who attend, sharing lunch, stories, hints and tips on interviewing and preparing students with mock interviews, ready for applications into the work force. Many thanks to VLine and Thyne Reid for funding and the Fairley Leadership and GV Young Professionals for providing mentors.

An enjoyable day was had by, not only the students but also the mentors.
