Design and Technologies Week
Celebrating Design
This week (14 – 18th Oct) we will be celebrating the fantastic learning that takes place in the Design and Technologies learning area and the role that Design and Technology plays in our world.
Lunchtime activities including drone racing, robotics building and virtual reality gaming will be taking place in the Design Hub and our new STEM corner in the Library.

Year 9 and 10 Design students will also be taking part in the national design competition, So You Think You Can Design. Last year we had two students walk away with 1st and 3rd place and a 3D printer each! Fingers crossed for this year.
We hope your children enjoy the week and see the potential that this learning area has to prepare them for a world of new technologies and possibilities!
