JSC - Legacy Week Badge Appeal

For a number of years, Mount View PS through the JSC has been supporting OAKLEIGH/WAVERLEY LEGACY BRANCH with their Legacy Week Badge Appeal.

The aim of the appeal is to raise funds for the families of deceased and incapacitated veterans during the 2019 Legacy Badge Week, in this their 96th year.

Legacy services are available throughout Australia to some 60,000 widows and 2,200 children and adults with disabilities. This support is provided by approximately 4,500 volunteer members (called Legatees). The scope of Legacy’s services ranges from:

Advice and counselling,

Practical assistance for those in need, and

Accommodation, education, legal and general welfare advice and assistance.

Merchandise ranges from $2 - $5 with badges, wristbands and a few high bounce balls available.

JSC reps will be selling Legacy merchandise from Monday 2nd - Friday 6th September during the first half of lunch in between the main and junior buildings.
