Year 12 Community & Family Studies

Late last year, our Year 12 Community and Family studies class completed work on their Independent Research Projects (IRPs). These projects involved the students learning about the research process, creating their own research questions and using a range of methodology such as interviews, questionnaires and content analysis, to conduct their own research. The CAFs students chose a broad range of topics to explore, including the positive effects of music, the dynamics of sporting teams and the impact of the TICTOC app. The students had to get out of their comfort zone to complete the IRPs, especially in approaching participants for their research. Through doing this, they have gained confidence in their research skills, which they can bring into their future studies. Well done Yr 12 CAFS on your efforts!
