Debating

Our dedicated inter-school debaters have participated in a successful year of debating. 

The final round of debates for 2019 was held last week at Caulfield Grammar and yet again Presentation College students performed admirably.  The Year 10 team won against Shelford Girls' Grammar, arguing against the moot, "that too many people go to university".  The Year 11 team lost by a mere point to Caulfield Grammar School, arguing in favour of the moot, "that schools should not have the right to ban books".  This was an unseen topic until one hour prior!  Well done to all!

Finally, worth acknowledging is the fact that valuable student supporters, teachers and parents attended each debate this year.  We are proud of all of our committed inter-school debating team members.
