Welcome toJunior School 2021

The Junior Sub School would like to welcome everyone back to the 2021 school year.

This term we welcomed 284 Year 7 students, 243 Year 8 students and 245 Year 9 students with a Ready-To-Learn session, where students were given the chance to collect their timetables and planners, organise their lockers and meet their teachers. This session allowed students to feel more prepared for the upcoming school year and was a chance for all students, especially the Year 7’s, to meet their STARR connect teacher.

On Monday, 2 February the Year 7’s began their first formal day at MSC. They participated in an assembly in the REC, found their lockers, juggled their books, got lost a few times, learned the bell times, practiced reading their timetables and met lots of new teachers and classmates. Over the next few weeks their classes will focus on teaching them the school values and routines, as well as helping them to get to know their new classmates.
