Religious Education News

Hi Everyone, Firstly I'd like to introduce myself, my name is Marylene Douglas and I am the new Religious Education Leader at St Louis Primary School. I have felt very welcomed into the St Louis community and have witnessed first hand the values of Respect, Innovation, Collaboration and Community. I look forward to working in partnership with the wonderful staff, students and families at St Louis.

The year has started off very smoothly and we were able to celebrate a very special Beginning Year Mass with Father Andrew, welcoming all staff and students, old and new, to St Louis, giving thanks to God for our many gifts and recognizing Christ's love for all, but especially the little children. (Mt 18:1-5).

Classes have also shown great imagination in creating beautiful prayer spaces in their classrooms and beautiful prayer cloths.

We have a very busy term ahead with 4 Eucharist Celebrations for the current Year 5 students and 4 Reconciliation Celebrations for the current Year 4 students. The first of the First Eucharist celebrations will be held at St. Louis Church for 5CA at 12.30pm and 5DE at 2.30pm, more updates to follow.
