Good afternoon families,

I cannot believe we have only been back a week. It has been a very busy week with so many things to organise and put into action.

Yesterday we had a beautiful beginning school mass in the hall. Father Andrew was so welcoming and commissioned the staff and blessed our 2021 school year.

School Photos

Tuesday 9 February is school photo day. All students are to wear full summer uniform. Black school shoes, no runners and hair tied in /or up.

The Garden to Kitchen program

The Garden to Kitchen program started this week and the students in Grades 3 & 4 were so excited to see real bees busy making honey.

Today Frank and some of the Grade 5 students cleaned out the finches' cage and then released 10 more birds into join 'Rocky' the only finch left after the holidays.

Swimming training started again for the students in grades 3-6, as we prepare for the District swimming carnival on Wednesday 17 February.  Our last training before trials is on Monday morning at 7am - 8am.

School Bags are compulsory for all of St Louis students. I have heard from some parents that some students were told that school bags were not compulsory after Grade 4. I have asked staff and no one has ever heard of this change to the school uniform.

Grade 6 Camp

Grade 6 students are off to Phillip Island for their camp. Two classes will leave on Monday 15 March and return on Wednesday 17 March and the other two classes will leave on Wednesday 17 March and return on Friday 19 March.

Grade 5 Eucharist

The Grade 5  students will be receiving their First Eucharist over 2 weekends. Sunday 28th Feb and Sunday 28 March, at 12.30pm or 2.30pm.

Enjoy your weekend

regards
