Parents & Friends Association

On Monday night we held our first P&F general meeting for 2021. Thank you to those who were able to join us, it was a great night with lots of exciting ideas planned for our children and parents too!  See below attachment for minutes of the meeting.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the new 2021 P&F Committee for volunteering to take on a role this year:

We have booked in our future P&F Meetings for the remainder of the year in the Staff Room at 7pm on the following dates:

Monday 10 May, Monday 9 August and our AGM will be on 25 October 2021.

Save the date/s!!

We will be sending out via Operoo asking for volunteers to help butter and distribute the Hot Cross Buns for our children on Thursday 1 April @ 8:45am (last day term), keep an eye out if you are available.  All children will receive 1 hot cross bun on the day, the P & F will be covering the cost for these this year with the funds raised from 2020.

We will also be organising a “Card Making” night on Monday 3 May at 7pm in the staff room for parents to come in and have a fun night making cards to be sold at the Mother’s Day Stall on Wednesday 5 May.  All materials supplied, so you just need to turn up and have some creative fun!

We have booked in for a Colour Fun Run for Friday 22 October, so watch this space for more information closer to the time.

Footy season is nearly upon us and the P&F have decided to run a QOP footy tipping competition. The competition will be run through ESPN Footy Tips (https://www.footytips.com.au/). It is free to enter. You could enter as a family or individually, the more the merrier. We will have some prizes for the top 3 placed tippers at the end of the competition (watch this space).
