School Uniform

Uniform - Change is coming in 2021

After lengthy consultation with the school community the Uniform Committee have moved to make the following updates of our school uniform:  

1. Soft Shell Jacket - This will replace the current PE jacket.
2. Rugby Jumper (Years 7-10) - This will replace the current 7-10 jumper.
3. Track Pant - This will replace the current all green track pant.

These items will be available for winter 2021. These items will be taken out of our approved uniform at the end of 2022 just in time for the opening of our new Stratton Road Campus in 2023. This will ensure our current Year 7’s are able to get the full three-year wear out of their existing uniform items. As we know, the current climate can cause delays but, in working with our uniform provider, we believe this should be enough lead time.

Overall, we have streamlined the colour of the uniform by making sure all items are the same shade of green. This will allow for a very professional and cohesive look in both the formal and PE uniforms. The Uniform Committee did not make these decisions lightly. There have been important links made between the choice of colour and other important parameters in developing our uniform. We looked closely at balancing style with school identity and tradition. 

The new items are now available for pre-order from our uniform supplier Hip Pocket. It is recommended to pre-order your new uniform items to ensure availability for the start of winter.

Once again we thank you for your feedback in the decision making process and we hope these changes will help improve the standard of the uniform going forward. Looking to the future there will be an annual survey asking for feedback on current uniform items and styles to ensure we are keeping up with current trends and student needs.
