Time to plan for summer reading 

 

 

The Summer Reading Slump is a real thing.  This is especially so for young adults, and especially so this year after extended periods of remote learning.  So how do you encourage your teens to read through summer and into the new term in 2021?  The link below is to an article by eminent Australian Literacy researcher, Dr Margaret Merga, entitled How to transform your teenager from a reluctant reader to avid bookworm in five steps.  The link includes five recommendations of books to get started.
