Regional Athletics 

On October 17th, 10 students represented themselves and the St Raphael's school community at the Northern Regional Athletics Competition, which is the qualifying event for the State Championships. A thank you must go the parents and guardians who not only supported the students on the day, but also who offered to transport the students to and from their events.

Listed below are the students who competed and their results from the day. Whilst they didn't qualify for the State Championships, I couldn't speak more highly of their achievements throughout the athletics competitions and how proud they should be of themselves for doing so!

Jessica Collins 12/13 year old High Jump - 9th

Conor Skaliotis 12/13 year old Discus -  9th

Lola Curic 9/10 year old 1500m - 10th 

Sean Ryan 9/10 year old 1500m -  8th

Briana Maiale 11 year old Discus - 9th

Poppy Vogl 9/10 year old 200m - 2nd in Heat; =5th in Final

Stefan Bortolotti 11 year old - 5th in Heat

Giulia Codini, Bianca Marcellino, Myar Scapin & Briana Maiale 11 year old 4x100m Relay - 4th in Heat; 7th in Final

School Sports Fun Day

Unfortunately, due to the inclement weather that came on Friday 2nd November, our School Sports Fun Day had to be postponed. 

Thank you to those parents who offered their assistance with the set up and also throughout the events.

We have managed to find a new date for Sports Day, with this being Friday 7th December (end of Wk 9). This will be held at Zwar Park. CareMonkey notices will be sent home shortly.

Aquatic Education

Our Aquatic Education program is fast approaching, with this scheduled to be held in Weeks 8 (Nov 26-29) and 9 (Dec 3 -5) of Term 4. CareMonkey notes have been sent home, and grouping of the students is currently taking place. More information will be communicated to families shortly.
