2019 Transition Night

Last week Staughton College held its annual Transition Night to guide Grade 6 students and their families through Staughton College. It was the first time that the night was hosted entirely by the Staughton College Leaders who did a fantastic job of speaking about the school and giving guided tours to families. Thank you to all students leaders, students and staff who stayed back to support the night and meet our future Year 7 families.
For further enrolment enquires please contact Daniel Xuerub.

"On Tuesday the 19th we held our annual Year Seven Transition Night. It was a great event to share our school with potential future students, with also giving parents and family a great perspective of the culture and expectations of Staughton College. I’d like to thank all the staff members involved for such a wonderful event and a special thanks to all the student leaders for being so active on the night, from presenting at the start, to taking tour groups and being at stations. This was another successful Transition Night at Staughton College."

"On Tuesday the 19th of March we had our Transition Night. It was great to see so many people attend and lots of students helping out parents and answering questions from near future Year 7s. As a Year 7 Leader I had to give a speech with other Year 7 Leaders in front of the parents and Year 6s, which we talked about how we have grown being at Staughton College and the expectations which we have here.
In the radio room with the Homework Club Radio Show, we were showing students how its run and what they can do to become a part of the radio team."

"On the 19th of March, Staughton College had its Year 7 Transition Night. I had the privilege of meeting some Year 6s from different schools and introducing them to Staughton.
When I first arrived at school I was greeted by my friends Mykaila and Alissa with a massive hug. While we were waiting, Mykaila practiced her speech in front of us and we waited for Tilly to arrive. When Tilly finally got to school we were sorted into our groups. The people that were in my group were: me, Tilly, Alissa and Joel. While we waited for the first two groups to arrive we were told what to do, and we could set up and look at books.
We handed out stickers and told them about Staughton for the rest of the night.
At the end of the night we said our goodbyes and parted ways."
