Principal's Report

At Staughton, we are keen for students to be able to follow their talents and interests. Last week, our ‘S Factor’ talent competition wrapped up. There were some spectacular performances, including ‘veteran’ performers and some exciting new talent. The judges were firm but fair with the contestants. Big crowds attended both the heats and the final.

I personally loved watching our students demonstrate their talents. We have a strong performance culture at the college that I am keen to continue to develop. I would like to particularly congratulate the placegetters

It is also important to give credit to the student and staff leaders. I would like to pay tribute to David Schembri and Music Captains Kennedy Su’a, Samuel Strawbridge, and Amber Gould for their hard work in bringing this event together.

Last week, was also Cultural Diversity Week. We had a fantastic line of different events to celebrate the many cultures within our Staughton Community. I will be celebrating this further in next week’s newsletter.
