Mt Buller Ski Day

Friday the 8th of August saw 50 students and 6 teachers departing Fairhills at 4am for a day at Mt Buller! Conditions were perfect with plenty of fresh powder to break many falls. We had a lot of first timers with us this year which was awesome to see.

It was also great to have some students come back for a second or third time with us to improve their skills. Rest assured, we were all very sore come Saturday morning! Special thanks to staff who came along for the ride – Stewie, Ms Harris, Ms LaLeggia, Angie Ritchie and Jayden Russell.

Well done to all who attended, your perseverance (and ability to laugh at yourselves) really made the day fantastic!

Y11 Caving

Our Year 11 Outdoor Eder’s headed out to Britannia Creek for a bit of caving in July. Caving can be one of the more mentally challenging activities we get the opportunity to do, especially when Mr Milner sneaks into caves to scare us!

As per usual, the whole team had a go, showed incredible support for each other and all came away with another awesome experience (and filthy clothes).
