Raising the Flag

 Students from the Support Unit were provided with the opportunity to raise a new Australian and Aboriginal flag. The students gladly accepted the challenge and proudly raised both flags. 

Congratulations and thank you to the following students who helped to raise the flags: Noaha Axford, Abdul Barghachoun, John Wilaisut, Zaeem Rehman, Portia Magallanes, Jake Van der Valk and Christian Kupkovic.

Back to Bowling

Students enjoyed returning to tenpin bowling with Lachlan Smith scoring an incredible 146 points!  Nine of the Support Units twenty-two students who participated received 100 or above points. What a great start to the bowling term!!

A Carpet of Grass

Wow!  What a surprise our students received when returning from school holidays -  beautiful green grass under the shade of our Chinese Elm tree. How lovely that our students are able to sit on the synthetic grass under the shady tree during break times!

Birthday celebrations

 As Term 3 came to an end last month, we celebrated Tiuli Junior Leilua's 18th birthday and Ayesha Ali's 17th birthday.  The students enjoyed celebrating their special day with students and staff.  Thanks to all the staff members and students who took the time to call in and join us - it was clearly evident to see that both TJ and Ayesha were very happy you dropped by to wish them a happy birthday!
