Successful students

HSC exams

It has been a busy start to Term 4. Our diligent Year 12 students were attending HSC seminars in Week One to prepare them for the HSC. This week our Year 12 students tackled their HSC exams. It was pleasing to see how seriously our students have been taking their exams and how conscientiously they have been preparing for the exams.

Our school community thoughts will be with Year 12 during this time and wishing them all the best in their exams. A beautiful picnic blanket was presented to Year 12 as a gift from the school.

Year 9

Year 9 faces their final formal assessment tasks in the coming weeks. It is important that students are organised, preparing at home to ensure that they demonstrate what they have learnt in their subjects.

Year 9 students are sharing what they are excited about during the beginning of this term:

This term, my accelerated maths class will be starting to go through Year 11 topics. I am looking forward to this as I always enjoy challenging myself with new concepts and expanding my knowledge of my favourite subjects.    Tiana Tepsa

In Health we are now learning the skills to enter the workforce and learn practical skills like writing resumes and applying for a tax file number. I’m looking forward to this as it assists me to getting a job and it is very different to what we learn usually.  Angelina Karac

In History, we have almost finished our World War One topic and we are going over conscription in Australia during World War One. The next topic we will be learning is World War Two. I am very excited as well as my peers to expand our knowledge on the subject. I can’t wait to start and enjoy learning with such fun, structured lessons. History is one of my favourite subjects and I’m eager to learn more.  Jazmyn Rizzuti

I am getting ready for my assessments in my subjects and studying for exams.   Sebastian Taoum
