Year 5/6—Celebrating Learning

As part of NAIDOC Week we spent some time looking into this year's theme ofAlways Was, Always Will Be. We took a walk to the St. Georges Road mural and discussed the history of the mural, the artists and the people it depicts. 

We also looked at the Acknowledgement of Country and Welcome to country and when these are used and by whom. We wrote our own Acknowledgements of Country and have included some for you to read.
