Year 1/2–Celebrating Learning

1/2 Mainstream and Steiner 

We have had some wonderful experiences this week celebrating all things NAIDOC. 

Classes have visited the Koorie Mural on St Georges Road, and enjoyed special sessions with Aunty Terri in Language and Culture about the contributions of First Nations people and connection to Country.

Students have learnt about Acknowledgements of Country and have practiced reciting them in our classes. They have also been learning movements to accompany the Acknowledgement with Aunty Lee in Wayapa sessions.
