While on vacation in Innsbruck, Austria, the award-winning Victoria Langfield of FN Kalgoorlie (WA) received a proposal she couldn’t say no to. 

So, she said ‘yes’.

Relief as Port Hedland receives all clear

As Cyclone IIsa bore down on Port Hedland early last Friday,  FN Hedland (Port Hedland, WA) activated its emergency plan and warned customers that it would be closed until given the all-clear. 

The office provided an emergency phone number to report maintenance but reminded clients that nobody could respond until the all-clear is given.

Fortunately the worst was avoided, with the cyclone largely sparing populated regions including the world's largest iron ore export hub at Port Hedland. Unfortunately though, there were reports of extensive damage in some remote towns and aerial surveys were underway, over the weekend.

Thinking outside the box

At FN Wanaka, in the Otago district of New Zealand’s South Island, Quentin Landreth erected a viewing platform so prospective land buyers could get a better sense of the views they’d be buying. 

He was ‘stoked’ when an offer was received the same day.

Easter at Port Augusta

When BGM Trent Godfrey visited FN Port Augusta (SA) our team was getting into the spirit of Easter with a couple of bunnies at reception. 

Noumea update

Manissah Friboulet of FN New Caledonia was spotted sporting an Aussie flag skirt recently at the office in Noumea. We also noticed that her mother paid a visit, travelling all the way from France.

Does anybody in Australia or New Zealand have a French flag skirt who can return the favour?

Catching up on Phillip Island

While our Professional Development Manager Lucy Gertos was on holiday recently on Phillip Island, she called in to visit FN Phillip Island directors, Kendal O’Garey and Michael Mcleod. 

While there, she toured their new space, discussed Social Express and Google Reviews, and caught up with Pago who looks after property management.

Bruny Island Easter Carnival

The FN Hobart & Kingston (Tas) team had a great day at the Bruny Island Easter Carnival, where locals competed in woodchopping, gum boot throwing, nail driving and sheaf tossing. Oh… and there was an Easter Egg hunt!

One solution to the rental crisis

Like everywhere in Australia right now, rental property vacancies are as rare as hen’s teeth. So, FN Broken Hill (NSW) has encouraged prospective tenants to get on the front foot and complete a tenancy application before they arrive.

FN Druitt & Shead celebrates 50th anniversary

A BIG shout out to FN Druitt & Shead (Doubleview, WA), which celebrates its 50th anniversary of property services this year. 

The agency has been a member of First National Real Estate since the 1st of August, 1984, making it one of Western Australia's founding offices. 

It's an incredible milestone for a great group of people.
