Online Community Road Safety Education Session

First in best dressed, limited registration spots left.

The first 5 interested participants are invited by Melton City Council for an online Community Road Safety Education Session, being delivered on Thursday 27 April.

This session is intended to be interactive and engaging, where students will have the opportunity to provide feedback on how road safety messaging should be delivered going forward. Interested participants must be or will soon be drivers and their parents/supervisors are also to attend and participate.

This education session will provide young people, new drivers and their parents or supervising drivers with information on road rules, being a safe driver and passenger and how to prevent road trauma. Melton City Council will also use this session to engage with attendees to understand how they would like to receive road safety messaging in the future.

The program will include guest speakers from:

  • • Ambulance Victoria’s Driving Standards Department
  • • Victoria Police’s Highway Patrol Unit
  • • Amber Community Road Incident Support and Education.

The session will encourage participant-led discussions and questions, and all feedback will be used to improve future road safety engagement, such as potentially delivering tailored education sessions directly to your community.

All those that attend the education session will go in the draw to win a share in $500 worth of prizes including a defensive driving lesson and AutoBarn vouchers.

Please RSVP on Council’s Melton Learning Directory website. If you would like to discuss further or have any questions, please reach out to Council’s Road and Community Safety Officer on the below details.
