During the Middle School Celebration Assembly conducted on Wednesday 3rd April, students were recognised for their positive learning behaviours in Term 1 classes. Within our school community, it is important to recognise the consistent day-to-day efforts of our students. In doing so, we hope to further foster a culture of celebration within the college and provide these formal opportunities for students to be recognised by their peers, staff and the wider school community.
Two categories of achievement were determined by analysing students’ Progress Reports.

The final thought presented in assembly related to this picture of a cake. Whilst the cake can represent a long-term goal, made up of smaller short-term goals (slices). It’s the accumulation of many crumbs that contribute to the slices and then the whole cake. These crumbs represent all of the small skills, habits and decisions consistently made and developed over time.
We encourage our students to discuss with their teachers and families, what ‘crumbs’ can you develop this term to contribute to your learning success?
