a word from our leaders

Student Reports

Semester Two academic and instrumental reports are now available to parents through your Edumate login.

We encourage you to take time to share in your child’s achievements.  Celebrate their successes and assist them in setting some new goals for 2022.  Although it occupies only a small part of each achievement record, we encourage parents to focus first and foremost on the ‘effort’ score reported for each learning area.  Whilst individual strengths and weaknesses each impact on a child’s level of academic attainment, outstanding effort is an accurate indicator that your child is maximising potential.  Celebrate!

We trust the report continues to give clear and concise information relating to your child’s progress.

Move Up Morning

Next Monday students will spend some time meeting with their 2022 classmates and teacher.  The session is aimed at giving students familiarity with their classroom learning arrangements for next year, and we trust, will generate excited expectation of the year ahead.

Open Classrooms

Following a positive response in 2021 and pending clarity around COVID restrictions, we invite you to drop in and visit your new classroom and specialist learning areas prior to the commencement of the school year.  Meet the teachers – classroom, specialist and learning support staff.  Get excited about the year ahead!

31 January, between 1.30 – 3.00pm

Celebrating our staff

The installation and re-dedication of all school staff will, God willing, take place at the 10.30am Worship Service at Good Shepherd on Sunday 6 February.  The ‘Back to School’ service celebrates the beginning of the new school year. Families and friends of the school are warmly invited to this special service.

It’s wonderful to again be expanding our teaching team. Energy, expertise, teamwork and laughter continue to be attributes of this highly professional group.  I feel honoured to lead them.
