YEAR 8 ART & DESIGN

Our theme for this year was Identity and it was great to see our students thoroughly exploring ways to further express their emotions, characteristics, traits and interests. We investigated Australian artist Howard Arkley and created artworks based on Melbourne suburbia by painting our own homes. Students also used the elements of line and shape to create unique patterns to express their identities through curvy compositions and celebrity heads.
