MUSIC

Some amazing work by Mia - TP presenting Music Terminology during Remote Learning.

Learning Space 3 Seniors

This term, LS3 Seniors have enjoyed their time exploring and writing different types of poems such as Rhyming, Limericks, Ballads, Odes and Couplets.

Our students have researched different celebrations and moments in history such as war and have incorporated them into their own poem.

La Llorona still looks for her children to this very day

She resides in Mexico, where she kidnaps kids as they play

Thinking that they are her own

But the location of her children remains unknown

Maybe one day she’ll realise her morals are wrong

Although she should have known all along

Death does not contain her, she knows that too

Even when your sleeping, she’ll be watching you

A mexican tale told to scare young kids

Making them listen to what their parents forbid

Although sometimes you can hear her cry,

Sometimes, your parents don't lie - Tiara 6 MF

Now that we need water

We don’t have to slaughter

We can put the fire out

Without a doubt

Then rescued some people

And did things that might be illegal

But made sure

To not kill a bore

We tried to save the world

But we almost did

The bombing starting at the shield

But still did our bid - Stanford 4 MF

I was at my house and I saw a mouse on the floor.

I went to the beach and I saw a leech. - Sadie 3 MF

There once was an amazing girl named Joy.

Who loved everyone except one boy.

He loved this great girl.

So he gave her a pearl.

All she gave him was a clay toy.   Joy 3 AL
