Kharisma Kids - OSHC

 This week at Kharisma Kids

Isn’t it great to see more sunshine and warmer days?  Not only is the whole school returning for Face to Face learning, nature is also preparing for a new start in the season.  For some, it is time to allow our children to flourish as they encounter challenges throughout childhood.  For others, it’s a time to prepare for a new beginning.

We snapped up a picture of a Black Swan protecting and watching over her young and another preparing a nest for her to raise her young and nurture them as they grow.

We too are ready to offer the children of St Francis de Sales an environment to feel safe, secure, happy, healthy and a sense of Belonging, Being and Becoming.

The Before School Care service has resumed and we hope to be able to assist families with a setting they can rely on as we return to Post-Covid normal settings.

It has been quiet in the mornings, but the After School Care has seen the return of numbers near and just over 20 per night.

The children have helped weed the school community garden and we are hoping to utilise the space throughout the rest of Term 4 and into the January Holidays before the start of the 2022 school year.

The children have been playing well together outside and many activities are on offer each afternoon when we come inside to keep everyone engaged with building on social interactions, cognitive and imaginary play, eye hand co-ordination and fine motor skills.

With the weather becoming more stable we have changed our menu for Afternoon Snack to healthy fruit and vegetable platters.
