House Sports 2021

The SJV House Sports were held last Thursday and Friday on the school oval.  The weather held off on both days to ensure all students had a wonderful day of friendly competition in various events.  Every student tried their best in events such as sprint races, obstacle courses, relay races, vortex and chicken throwing and fun team games.  I think the photos from the day sum up the fun and games that were had by everyone (teachers and LSO’s included!!)

Although the focus for our sports is to join in and have fun, SJV sports day always holds the annual Year 6 - 400m Championship race to conclude the sports.  This year we had an amazing number of participants for both races.  The girls 400m race was won by Lexi, and the boys 400m race was won by Declan.  Congratulations to these students and to all those that ‘had a go’.  Fantastic effort!

By 3pm on Friday we had a winning team...  Blue house were declared the winners of the 2021 SJV House Sports.  Closely followed by Gold, Red and Green house.  

Congratulations to all the students for joining in and doing their best for their House team.  Congratulations also go to our SJV Leaders for their amazing efforts in assisting throughout the preparations and running of the two successful days.  Sasa, Celine, Eva, Benjamin, Cooper, Declan, Tanishka and Raf did an amazing job!
