KHS Inducts New School Leaders for 2022

Congratulations to our new School Leaders for 2022.

On Tuesday 23rd November a special assembly was held for the induction of our School Leaders. 

Our incoming Vice Captain, Freddie Quinlan, started the assembly with the Welcome to Country and Year Advisor Lara Harrison hosted the assembly. Principal Simon McKinney addressed the assembly and spoke of the importance of the leadership roles and expectations of the incoming Leaders. 

Mr Janssen was asked to present the incoming School Leaders with their badges. The students recited the school pledge and signed the official induction record book. 

The School Leaders are as follows ;

Captains :                 Freya Weismantel 

                                    Colby Keenahan

Vice Captains :       Hayley Andrews

                                    Freddie Quinlan

Prefects :                  Hannah Fraser

                                    Justin Rench 

The Captains, Colby and Freya, then spoke about their position and the importance of this role to them and their intentions for the future. They commended the outgoing School Leaders and assured the students that they were approachable and happy to listen to any ideas they may have. 

The assembly ended with a celebratory morning tea held in the library for the School Leaders and guests.
