Congratulations to our Basketball, Hot Shots, Kickball and Cricket teams which made it to the finals. Winter sport will kick off in week 3 of Term 2 and will include Netball, Footy, Soccer, T-ball and Rounders.

House Athletics 2017

Thank you to all the parents that helped out on a scorching 33 degree day for the House Athletics. Despite the heat and uncomfortable conditions the children all performed at their best in completing a great day of competitive Athletics. The day culminated in the shuttle and circular relays that enabled us to crown Bradman House as new champions in front of Fraser House, who won the trophy last year. But only five points covered all four houses and two points separating the top two. Many of the high achievers will go on to represent the school at District Athletics in September when Mr Zac will select the team on all the results available.

Eastern Metropolitan Swimming Carnival

On Friday 17 March,  four Jells Park students competed in the Eastern Metropolitan Swimming Carnival. Jessica W, Shelby V, Zahli C and Janey R competed in the 4 X 50 metre freestyle against 15 other schools. The girls swam amazingly and finished 10th with a time of 3:07. This was their fastest time by over 3 seconds.

A terrific effort girls. Well Done
