Prep – Terrific Toys Incursion

On Monday August 13, the Preps had an incursion where they explored the Term 3 Inquiry topic - Terrific Toys.  This was a fantastic opportunity for all students to explore the history of toys through the ages and play with many toys that their parents and grandparents would have enjoyed. There were slinkies, dominos, blocks, skipping ropes and dress ups, as they worked their way through all the various toys.

The students also had an opportunity to investigate how the toys worked, which ones needed to be constructed, push and pulled. At the end of it all there were smiles all round, as only playing with toys can do.
