Technology- Food Technology

This term in Junior Masterchef we learnt about the different types of eggs such as Caged Eggs, Barn Eggs and Free Ranged Eggs. We have also attempted to create cheese. Some went well but we still didn’t eat it. We have made a wide range of foods from savoury to sweet. For sweet we made Lava Cakes, Doughnuts and more. For savoury we have made Pizza, Spaghetti, Sausage Rolls and more. That’s just a taste of what we have done this term and there’s still more to be done.

The Year 8 and 9 Food Technology classes worked really hard for the Domain Expo. The Domain Expo is a great opportunity for students in other year levels to see what sort of food they will be cooking in these year levels (not to mention have a nice snack). Students worked really hard to make pizza, cupcakes, cheesecakes and much more for the event.
