Year 12 2018 - Step Up Program

The Year 12 2018 Step Up Program commenced on Monday 20 November and ran until Friday December 1. Students commenced the learning program in all classes during this time with learning tasks and homework being set for all subjects. This program enabled students to gain a clearer understanding of the learning requirements of their Year 12 VCE or VCAL program.

This two-week period provides for students to commence their final year of schooling in 2018 with a deeper understanding of their learning program and improved preparation to meet the requirements of each subject. This also allows for the VCE Unit 3/4 course to be completed earlier and provides more time for exam revision at the end of term 3 and the start of term 4 next year.  

Students learn most effectively when they feel that they are well known by their teachers and the learning environment is based upon mutual respect. During the Step-Up program teachers and students were able to develop a shared understanding of their expectations for 2018 and discuss strategies to ensure that students will have the opportunity to make the most of their opportunities and fulfil their potential in their final year of formal education.
