AFL Football and Netball Holt District Lightning Premierships

The Holt District AFL and Netball lightning premierships will be held on the following dates, please keep them free if you would like to support your son/daughter or are willing to assist with coaching or umpiring. The students have been asked individually if they would like to be involved. We still require at least one parent to travel to and from the netball on the bus if you are available please email me at; gmcnamara@stjamesbrighton.catholic.edu.au

Friday/Community Sport 

Finally last week we saw some beautiful sunshine for Friday/Community sport! It was a great day to be out on the oval and netball courts for some friendly sporting rivalry. This week will be our last round in preparation for the lightning premierships starting next week for AFL and Netball. This week our game will be at Peanut Farm for football and a home game for the netballers. Please ensure your son/daughter has the appropriate clothing/footwear for their chosen sport. Lunch orders are difficult on this day and are best avoided. A huge thank you to John C who has turned up to support and coach the footballers each week. Not to mention Mr Flanagan who has been a very fair and consistent umpire. Thanks must also go to Mrs Herbert and Miss Contin for their organisation and enthusiasm with the netball.
