P & F News 

Welcome back! The P&F committee hopes that you all had a wonderful school holiday break. We have now moved into term 3 and as usual we are planning many events that we look forward to running for you – to name a few, we have our Father’s Day Event, Trivia Night and Tony’s Pie Drive coming your way.

We ask that you continue to stay up to date with P&F news so that you don’t miss out on any important information relating to P&F activities and events. And we also kindly ask if you can support us with our upcoming Father’s Day and Trivia Events by donating either a box of chocolates OR bottle of wine. If so, please hand your donation to the front office at your earliest convenience.

Trivia Night

On Saturday 23rd July, please join us at our ADULT’S ONLY Trivia Night event. This evening will be a fun way to socialise with school parents, teachers, and members of the parish.

Tickets are $200 per table OR $20 for a single ticket. Tickets are available UNTIL MONDAY 18th JULY and sales are capped to 150 tickets, with a first in, first served basis. 

THIS IS YOUR LAST WEEK TO BUY TICKETS – DON’T MISS OUT!

You can BYO food and beverages (including alcoholic) AND lots of gold coins for games/activities. Purchase tickets via QUICKCLIQ under the EVENTS tab. Please see attached flyer for more information. We hope to see you there, P&F Committee!

Lunch Order Day

The first lunch order day for Term 2 will take place on Thursday 28th July. Food order items will include Glenroy Pizzas, Hot Dogs and Mini Muffins. As usual you can make your child’s purchase via QuickCliq – online ordering will open soon.

Lunch order days work best when we have many helpers to assist with packing and service of food, so please if you are free on this day and are willing to help, contact Rose Piotti on 0418 306 802. Thanking you kindly for your assistance.

* Important information from the principal, deputy principal and P&F: Parents, please note that lunch order days are a P&F fundraising activity, and we work hard to ensure that you are given enough time to place an order for your children. We kindly ask that if you miss the cut-off date to place your child’s order that you DO NOT bring in any FAST FOOD. Instead, you could consider placing a ‘special lunch’ in your child’s lunchbox as an alternative. We thank-you for your understanding in this matter.

Tony’s Pie Drive

Every year the P&F hosts a Tony’s Pie Drive. Tony’s Pies is an established pastry business on Buckley St in Essendon specialising in home made pies, pasties and sausage rolls. Their pastries are delicious and make for the perfect quick winter family dinner. Their pies can also be frozen and saved for a ‘busy’ day.

Soon enough we will release order details for this event and we encourage you to purchase some pastries to fill your tummy and support our school.

Father’s Day Breakfast

On Friday 2nd September we are looking forward to celebrating the fathers/special men of our St. Fidelis' children. Fathers will be invited to attend a breakfast event hosted by the P&F committee. Details to follow BUT please save the date. As usual we will also be running our annual Father’s Day Raffle – tickets will be released closer to the event date.

Term 2 Event Summary

The P&F members want to thank you for all your support with the Term 2 events and activities. With your support we were able to host Mother’s Day Events, Raffles, Lunch Order Days, A Photo Fundraising Shoot, The Vinnie’s Winter Appeal and Uniform Stalls. 

Whilst each of these events raises profits for St. Fidelis School (minus the Vinnie’s Appeal), the focus is to always provide our community (parents, children, and staff) with events/activities that foster positive relationships and are inclusive of everyone’s needs.
