Principal's message

Dear Parents/Carers,

With just over a week to go before the end of term, I want to send a few reminders regarding reports and Parents Teacher Interviews. The Compass booking portal for interviews is now open. I encourage all parents to take the time and book an interview with your child's teacher.

It is such an essential part of ensuring your child is developing to their full potential. Educating children is a partnership between school and home. We must know what students are doing at school, what they can be doing at home to support their learning, and most importantly know that our teachers' and parents' expectations are high concerning their children succeeding and doing well at school.

School reports will be open to parents on Monday 20th June at 11.30 am. This will allow parents time to read their child's report before the interview. I look forward to seeing you all around the school over the interview nights. If you have a few minutes over that time, please check the lost property for student uniforms and belongings.

On behalf of the school, I would like to thank Leanne O'Connor for her work with the Personal Development sessions we have had this term. They are crucial for our students, and Leanne does an exceptional job delivering the content and making herself available for our parent information session, thanks again Leanne.

We have the Year 3 to 6 students attending the Primary Performers - Annie Jr performance at the Lighthouse Theatre next week. We must have all permission slips back as soon as possible to enable all students to attend. It is great to see our students doing more and more. Staff will remind students about appropriate audience behaviour and what is expected when walking to events. Could all parents please support us in this by discussing what these behaviours would look like also? Thank you in advance.

Have a great weekend everyone!
