Class

Sarah Aynsley

Acting Head of Curriculum

Welcome to Term 3

Hold on tight... this term is going to be a busy one!  We hope you have all had some downtime over the holidays and some quality family time.

Welcome to Kerryn Powell

My name is Miss Kerryn Powell, and I will be teaching Maths and Agriculture in Semester Two. I am originally from Quairading, and still have family farming there. I have been an Educator for 20+ years and love the profession. It has taken me all over WA and overseas in a variety of roles. But my favourite place to be is in the classroom! Both my brothers attended Cunderdin Ag and I have been very successful in Agriculture. I'm so much looking forward to working with your children!

Prepared for class and uniform

Please remember to ensure you have all the necessary equipment for class, including a charged laptop, notebooks, textbooks and a full pencil case.  Correct class uniform is also required; any variation on this will require a trip to the office to receive a uniform pass. Repeated offences will result in a negative Compass entry and we would like to avoid an accumulation of these with so many important events on the school calendar.

Year 12's

It's hard to believe we have entered the final term for many of our Year 12's.  It is a term packed with activities and is sure to fly by.  Each learning area has numerous assessments still to be administered throughout the term. It is important to keep on top of tasks, tests and assignments to ensure you all receive as many marks as possible towards your final grades. Keep in touch with your teachers, particularly if you are feeling overwhelmed with the workload; we are here to help and support you.

Congratulations to Jorja, Frazer and Jacob who have all gained early entry into university for 2022.  We are very proud of your hard work and dedication to Class, Trades and Farm!

ATAR Camp

During Week 3, the Year 12 ATAR students will be heading away for a short camp to Perth and surrounds to visit a range of tertiary institutions, the State Library of WA, trial sites and a camel farm.  The Year 11 ATAR students will be attending their own camp later in the year.

Year 11's

We are all missing the spirited Year 11's from around the class area; it's really not the same without them at the College.  We have loved receiving updates of their adventures as they journey north and look forward to having you back in Week 3.
