Hosting School assemblies in person again 👌

Hosting school assemblies is divided into two parts, preparation, and presentation. 

Assembly preparation occurs a week prior to the assembly. We meet for a session to discuss which three leaders will run the assembly then as a team we divide up the sections. Using MS Teams we send messages to:

• Teachers for Students of the Week 
• Principals for Principal awards
• Ms Baido for attendance data
• Mr Moat for Maths award
• Ms Perera for Literacy award
• A year level of teachers who will share some of the learning in their classes

We then do some short rehearsals of what we need to say and take notes of who we will pass the microphone to next. 

Part two is the Assembly presentation. This can be exciting and rewarding, sharing all the learning and good things happening at our school. Each assembly we are continuing to improve our public speaking skills.
