NEWS & ADMINISTRATION
Mrs Caroline Galea
Dear Parents,
This has been a busy term with many events which have taken place. These include sacraments, our Circus Circus production, District Sport, excursions, reports, class masses, NAPLAN, Mother's day, school photos and Grade 4 camp, just to name a few. We look forward to the start of Term 3 and in particular the Year 3/4 production entitled Bugz which will be held on Wednesday 20th July 2022.
SCAM ALERT
Earlier this week, we were notified that some of our school parents received a text informing you that school is closed and to call a centre. I can assure you that this text did not come from us. Monitor your texts and I urge you to never reply or provide details to such texts.
PARENT/TEACHER INTERVIEWS
It was great to have parent-teacher interviews in person, and for many parents to have the opportunity to see our newly renovated school. Thank you to all the teachers, parents and families for the collaborative partnership in working together to support our students' learning. Most importantly, thank you to the students for their hard work and efforts.
EXCURSIONS
Last Wednesday, our Year 3/4s travelled to CERES as part of their Inquiry learning unit. It was a great opportunity to learn about our First Nations People. Next term, the Year 5s will be heading to Federation Square to do a Walking Tour run by The Koori Heritage Trust.

GRADE 3 & 4 PRODUCTION - 'BUGZ'
"Bugz" is being performed at Holy Name in the School Hall on Wednesday 20th July 2022 with two performances:
Performance 1 at 12:30pm (Matinee)
Performance 2 at 5:30pm (Evening)
Tickets go on sale on Monday 11 July (the first day of Term 3), and are $5 each.
You can purchase them from the school office..... in person or over the phone.
You can also send your ticket request with payment enclosed, via your child. Please make sure you write your name, and how many tickets are required and if it's for the matinee or evening (or both).
If you have a toddler who will sit on your knee, you don’t need to purchase a ticket for them.
Pls note: We have over 200 seats available for each performance.
In order to keep the exit aisles clear, we ask that no pushers are brought into the hall.
We anticipate the show should run for approx.. an hour or so…..
Your child's classroom teacher will let you know about simple costume requirements.....
I hope to see you all there!
