LA FRANCOPHONIE A TRAVERS LE MONDE 2022 COMPETITION!
In conjunction with The Association of French Teachers in Victoria (AFTV)
MAURITIUS!
Students in Grades 5 and 6 completed a research inquiry on a French speaking country.
Students were to produce a 2 minute VIDEO to showcase their research.
The country allocated to BPS students was, MAURITIUS!
The research was to include some of the following:
History, Culture, Music, Food, Lanscapes, Tradition, Flag, Capital city, Weather, Landmarks, Flora and Fauna.
Students were to try and use as much French as possible!
Students were encouraged to use sentence structures suitable to their level of French language acquisition.
Their task was to produce a video in which they present a French speaking country.
Students were encouraged to be CREATIVE!
CONGRATULATIONS to our WINNERS!
NICOLAS, HAMISH and ARCHIE from Grade 6 won third place in the YEAR 5/6 Category.
The prize ceremony was held at Federation Square in Melbourne City on Saturday 16th July with the Bastille Day Celebration.
Well done to all our students who participated! There were many great entries.
Congratulations to our WINNERS, Nicolas, Hamish and Archie! Great team work!
