Drama Victoria Incursion

The 3/4 and 5/6 students attended a Drama Victoria Incursion last week with a focus on Improvisation. The children were phenomenal performers, all trying their best, listening to the host and giving it a go.

From tongue twister warmups to mirroring a partner, being ‘moody’ teenagers, toddlers, babies and lions, they did it all!

A highlight was watching the 3/4 students play ‘Freeze Frame’ whereby in groups and without talking they needed to create a dragon together as a group. It was a challenging task and they all succeeded. They then were asked to “bring their dragon to life”. The noise in the hall was as you can imagine, very loud as the squawking, fire breathing dragons came to life.

An outstanding display of improvisation by all! Well done 3/4s and 5/6s!
