Maths Mindset Awards - Announced at assembly on Friday 13th September

 

Year 2 - Ayla Rawlings for persisting when adding a range of numbers to 100, checking in for support but also trusting her skills. Well done Ayla!

 

Lenny Flavelle for consistently trying his best when challenging himself with large place value math equations.

 

Year 5 - Juliette Walshe – for showing great resilience when faced with a vertical symmetry problem; she kept trying and asking for help to develop a deeper understanding of this challenging topic.

 

Penny Deans and Flo Oakes for an increased focus, effort  and interest in completing an increased number of maths questions to improve their understanding of mathematical concepts.  

 

Year 6 - Mitch Nevin from 6TW-For always going the extra mile in his learning, attempting harder Maths Challenges with resilience and working hard to learn from his mistakes and improve.

 

Arina Koshelieva for never giving up when tackling challenging concepts when working with patterns and fractions.

1AG - Ari Elphick for working so hard on his information report. I am so proud of you! 

 

2SD- Jessica Schroder for consistently using commas, apostrophes and exclamation marks to improve her writing.

 

3CW- Scout Packwood, Dominic Underwood & Maverick Hill for using descriptive vocabulary and varying their sentence lengths to impact the reader during narrative writing.

 

4BB- Luke Pinnuck for working so hard on the shape and formation of your handwriting. You have made such wonderful progress. Well done!

 

5LC- Daisy Reynolds – for enthusiastically researching the Black Saturday bushfires and presenting the facts using her own words in her Information Report.
