2024 Swimming Program
The children from Foundation to Year 4 have had a fantastic time at the Northcote Aquatic and Recreation Centre. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our amazing parent helpers and dedicated teachers for making this wonderful experience possible!
🌍 Exhibition of Inquiry Learning: "Around The World Stories" 🌍
A VERY BIG THANK YOU!
We are thrilled to share that last night's Exhibition of Learning was a fantastic success, with a great turnout from parents, families, and friends. It was wonderful to see the incredible work our students have been doing on display, showcasing their creativity, effort and achievements across various subjects. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and pride as students shared their art pieces, projects and learning experiences with our Sacred Heart community. It was a great opportunity to celebrate their hard work, and we are so proud of what they have accomplished.
A very big thank you to our amazing hard working staff and everyone who attended and supported this event. Your involvement helps make these moments special and memorable for our students! We will have more to share with you in next week's newsletter.
Footy Colours Day - Friday 20th September
We will hold our annual Football Day next Friday, 20th September. Students are encouraged to wear football apparel to support their chosen AFL team. If students support a different sport, such as soccer, netball, basketball, or tennis, they are welcome to wear clothing representing their chosen sport.
We also invite students to bring a gold coin donation for charity.
2024 Premier's Reading Challenge!
We are proud to announce that 66 of our students completed the 2024 Premier's Reading Challenge. Students who participated demonstrated exceptional dedication to reading. we look forward to celebrating their achievements in Term 4 when the certificates arrive.
Grilled Northland - Donation to Sacred Heart
As mentioned in previous newsletters, Grilled Northland have chosen our school as a community partner for the month of September. During September all customers are given a token to place in the jar of the community partner they would most like to support. The community partner with the most tokens is given a valuable financial reward. As someone who likes his burgers, I can recommend the Grilled Zen Hen!
