Last week, prep students produced a beanie and matching mittens using crayon resit technique. We drew patterns on the beanie and mittens using crayons and painted them using poster colours.

Year 3-6 Students' Play Was a Great Success

On Thursday, September 12th, the students from Years 3 to 6 performed a play in the CPS hall that they had been practicing this term. Year 3/4 students performed a traditional Japanese folk tale, while Year 5/6 students presented an original play titled "Timeslip to the Edo Period!?" This term's focus was on acting, and through various activities, the students worked toward the goal of performing with "clear voices, full of emotion, and expressive gestures." They demonstrated the results of their practice. Watching them all come together to give such a great performance made me realize how much they've grown during this term.

Thank you to all the parents who came to watch, and a special thank you to the mothers who helped dress Year 5/6 students in their costumes. For those parents who couldn't make it to watch the show, I will edit the video and screen the recording in the classroom during the Amazing Art Show in Term 4, so please join us then!

Kind regards
