Wellington Division

On Friday 13th September we had 6 of our students compete at the Wellington Division Athletics in Sale. A huge achievement and congratulations to Ruby, Brylie, April, Lachlan, Logan, and Chase for their efforts in Friday's carnival.

The events our young people competed in on the day.

Chase:  Shot Put

Logan:  800m run

Lachlan:  200m sprint, Hurdles, Relay, 

Ruby:  800m, 200m sprint, 100m sprint, Relay

April:   100m sprint, 200m sprint, Relay

Brylie:  200m sprint, Triple jump, Hurdles, Relay

Chase achieved a personal best, throwing 6.05m. April and Brylie received 3rd ribbons in the relay race. This is the first time in around 9 years that the cluster schools have received a ribbon in a relay. Brylie also placed 3rd in triple jump, 5th in her 200m sprint and 8th in hurdles. Ruby placed 4th in her relay race, equal 7th in her 200m race, 8th in her 100m heat, and second last in her 800m race. Logan placed 7th in his 800m race. April placed 4th in her 100m sprint and 7th in her 200m sprint. There was some confusion with the relay, but Lachlan and his team placed 3rd in the relay race. He placed 4th in hurdles and 5th in the 200m sprint.

We are so proud of all of you. You showed your personal best and represented the team proudly. A tremendous effort by all!!
