Eucalyptus House
Hi everyone! We are Mahsooma and Mahdi, the Eucalyptus House Captains for 2024. As your house captains we are optimistic for what the year holds for us as individuals and as a community within Eucalyptus.
This term kicked off with a splash in our annual Swimming Carnival, where our students showcased their house spirits. It was a day filled with thrilling races, cheers, and moments of triumph as our swimmers gave their all to represent our house with pride. In preparation for the swimming carnival our student leaders actively engaged in spreading awareness and promoting a sense of belonging through various publicity initiatives, including interviews of students and teachers.
We also had the annual badges assembly where we congratulated our fellow Student Representatives elected from year 7 - 12. Alongside our SRC’s, we are committed to work hard to encourage more house spirit and meaningful connections throughout the year.
Next term, the Eucalyptus student leaders are looking forward to putting in place some House initiatives. We are looking to promoting fundraising opportunities and identifying a charity we would like to support. We will encourage students to participate in the upcoming Athletics carnival and later in the term, the Chorals competition.
It has been a terrific start to the year and we look forward to what we will accomplish together as a house as the year progresses!

Eucalyptus 7 Transition Allstars!
During a Year 7 assembly earlier this term, we awarded two students from each House for being Transition Allstars!
Congratulations to Larisa, who has a fantastic attendance record so far and has been on time to class every time. She has a proactive positive approach to her learning, asks many relevant questions and always has a smile on her face. She has shown respect and kindness to fellow students and staff!
We also congratulate Arijan, who has been present every day since Year 7 Orientation and is always at class on time. He is engaged in every subject and has asked great questions of the adults supporting his transition. He has taken a ‘can do’ approach to his learning, is respectful and kind!
