As we, Arifa and Rahmat, step into our roles as your House Captains, we're filled with gratitude and eagerness for the year ahead. The recent swimming carnival showcased our school's spirit and talent, and we're incredibly proud of everyone who took part.

A highlight we must celebrate is Ahmad Fahim Saba from Darwinia 12, breaking the freestyle swimming record with a remarkable time of 29.54 seconds. Fahim's achievement is proof of what dedication and hard work can accomplish. A massive congratulations to him!

We've also received fantastic feedback from Year 12s for our Term 1 excursion, reminding us how these moments strengthen our bonds. It’s the enthusiasm and memories from these experiences that push us forward, making us excited for what’s next.

Looking ahead, next term is packed with opportunities for everyone to shine, especially the upcoming athletics carnival. This event is a chance for us all to come together, and support one another, and as a house, aim to win the title. We encourage each of you to participate, whether you’re competing, cheering, or helping to organize. Alongside the athletics, the chorals will be a highlight, offering a stage for voices across our school community to unite. Additionally, we're planning a charity event that will not only support a great cause but also bring our community closer. Details will be coming your way soon.

Serving as your House Captains is a privilege. We’re here to support and celebrate each step we take together this year. Let’s dive into the upcoming events with enthusiasm. Your participation is key to making this a memorable year for all of us. Here’s to a fantastic year ahead!

Darwinia 7 Transition Allstars!

During a Year 7 assembly earlier this term, we awarded two students from each House for being Transition Allstars! 

Congratulations to Sophie, who has embraced the start of high school, becoming actively involved in all her classes, showing respect for herself, classmates and her teachers by bringing her equipment and completing all tasks. She has made other students feel welcome to Darwinia House, helping them out with their transition!

We also congratulate Chudiar, who joined Darwinia a little later than most other students, but has fit right in with the group. He is a friendly and respectful student and participated in all of the transition activities with gusto!
