Callistemon House
Hi everyone! We’re Noon and Ivana, Callistemon's House Captains.
So far being House Captains has opened our eyes to the opportunities and experiences that come with this leadership role. It has allowed us to discover our more responsible and outgoing sides while working with the rest of the leadership team. We’re looking forward to working more with our House and coming up with activities suitable for everyone. All Callistemonians are welcome to see us or email us for any suggestions and feedback.
We've done many things this term, including the badges assembly recognizing all leaders and guests. We congratulate everyone who received a leadership role. We’ve celebrated our new Year 7s with a picnic welcoming them to their first year at Dandy High. We’re also proudly the winners of the swimming carnival, which was a victorious accomplishment. We recognize and admire the hard work that we as a House put into leading Callistemon to success.
We as House Captains strive to make Callistemon a comfortable space where you’re able to share your thoughts, concerns, and provide feedback. We aim to bring everyone in Callistemon closer together so that we are able to share the support and success that come our way in any endeavor. By the time we leave Year 12, we hope that we were able to make an impact and difference in our House as a whole. We wish to establish more activities within the House not only to achieve that goal of bringing everyone closer together but to make each and every person's high school experience a lot more memorable.
It is a pleasure to represent Callistemon House, and we are excited to see what the rest of the year has in store. Thank you for choosing us as your House Captains, and we hope we can make Callistemon proud.
